Jordan Lutheran Church Endowment Fund
Organization Name: Jordan Lutheran Church

Jordan first held worship services in 2009, born from the cooperative spirit of faithful churches in the greater Raleigh metro area that understood the importance of planting new churches. This energy has formed the bodies of believers at Jordan to be focused on our place in the community as beacons of light and hope in a world of need. The congregation focuses on empowering people through the Word of God, which is living and active. Throughout the year, Jordan is active to care for those who are broken spiritually and physically. Locally, we work with partners to address homelessness, respond to disasters, and care for life at all ages. Every week, we invest in raising up adults and children in God’s Word.
Encounter God
God is not hidden; in fact, He promises us in the Bible that forgiveness is found for all who acknowledge the power of Jesus’ sacrifice for the world on Calvary’s cross. Each and every week, as we gather in worship, we are given the opportunity to celebrate the wonders of our God who came into this physical world to bring healing.
Embrace the Word
As people who see the work of God’s hand, we must constantly renew ourselves by seeking God where He can be found in the Bible. “Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). Our greatest weapon in the world is the same one Jesus used to rebuke Satan when He was tempted with the words of Scripture.
Impact All Nations
The message of forgiveness shown to us in Jesus is a joy that cannot be held in secret. It is out of the boundless love shown to us in Christ Jesus that we give back to those in need in our backyards or those around the world in ongoing missionary partnership in the Dominican Republic, training leaders throughout Latin America.
